About Us: Caroline Monsewicz

Meet Caroline Monsewicz

Caroline Monsewicz is a dedicated trial attorney at Zinns Law, where she advocates for individuals and families facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. She is passionate about holding corporations accountable when they fail to prioritize safety and is committed to securing justice for those affected by negligence.

At Zinns Law, Caroline treats every client as a person—not just a case number—ensuring they receive the dedicated representation they deserve.

A Strong Foundation in Advocacy and Excellence

Originally from North Carolina, Caroline graduated summa cum laude from Marshall University with dual degrees in History and Political Science and a minor in Vocal Performance. In 2013, she was honored to study at the University of Oxford, where she focused on political economics and Middle Eastern relations alongside peers from across the U.S., Europe, and Australia. A natural leader and team player, she also played as a goalkeeper for the Marshall University Thundering Herd NCAA Division I women’s soccer team for four seasons.

Caroline’s drive for excellence led her to Emory University School of Law, where she continued to challenge herself academically and professionally. She was recognized as a Graduating Woman of Excellence and received the prestigious Dean’s Award for her service to the Emory Law community.

A Unique Perspective in Personal Injury Law

Before joining Zinns Law, Caroline gained valuable insight into the insurance industry as an attorney at a respected insurance defense firm in Atlanta. There, she defended clients in complex personal injury cases, including automobile and truck accidents, as well as high-stakes insurance disputes. This experience gives her a strategic advantage—she understands how insurance companies assess claims, and she now uses that knowledge to fight for the injured and their families.

Since 2021, Caroline has helped recover over $10 million for clients harmed by negligence. She has spent hundreds of hours in the courtroom, handling more than 65 bench and jury trials, as well as numerous mediations and hearings across Georgia. Her exceptional skills and dedication have earned her recognition as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” since 2022—an honor awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys.

Life Beyond the Courtroom

When she’s not advocating for clients, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two beloved cats, Emerson and Juniper. She is also excited to welcome their daughter, Nora, in Spring 2025. Outside the courtroom, Caroline can often be found rolling dice and strategizing with friends in epic tabletop adventures—where, much like in her legal practice, she carefully weighs the odds, outmaneuvers opponents, and occasionally persuades a jury (of fellow adventurers) that her plan is foolproof. She also sings with the Michael O’Neal Singers in Roswell, Georgia, and enjoys gardening.
